Starting Thursday, September 25 at 7 p.m. through Monday, September 29 at 5 a.m., 4 Street S.W. @ Mission Bridge over the Elbow River will be fully closed for construction. Route 449 will be detoured.


Southbound route 449 will travel:



  • From South on 4 Street S.W.

  • East on 25 Avenue S.W.

  • South on Macleod Trail S.

  • East on 39 Avenue S.E.

  • West on 42 Avenue S.E.

  • North on Macleod Trail S.

  • West on Mission Road S.W.

  • West on 30 Avenue S.W.

  • South on 4 Street S.W., resume regular routing.


Northbound route 449 will travel:



  • From North on 4 Street S.W.

  • East on 34 Avenue S.W.

  • South on Mission Road S.W.

  • South on Macleod Trail S.

  • East on 39 Avenue S.E.

  • West on 42 Avenue S.E.

  • North on Macleod Trail S.

  • West on 25 Avenue S.W.

  • North on 4 Street S.W., resume regular routing.


The following stops will be temporarily closed:



  • SB 4 ST @ Rideau RD S.W. (#5572)

Starting Monday, July 21 at 5 a.m., and continuing until 9 p.m. on Friday, October 31, there will be a road closure on the 4 Street W (Mission Bridge) between Elbow Drive S.W. & Roxboro Road S.W. to accommodate bridge rehab work. Route 449 will have a stop closure.
